FRIDAY 25.11.2022
The race weekend started with PT55, The Peninsula Traverse 55km. The point to point race set off from Llandudno at 07H00, made their way to Hout Bay via Suther Peak and continued to the race village in Gardens.
With the final runners of PT55 and EX23 across the finish line at Gardens RC, it was time for RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town to get ready for the next race start. THE INAUGURAL 100 MILER, UTCT. Hosting or running a 100 miler across the Cape Peninsula has been the dream of so many, finally it would become a reality.
SATURDAY 26.11.2022
100 mile runners bravely took on the night, the wicked South Easter (a name paired with the wind that blows across the peninsula) picked up and continued to gale throughout race weekend. The sun rose at 05h35, giving UTCT participants renewed energy. The 100KM started at 06h00, taking on a new, tougher route.

While a handful of 100 mile runners came across the RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town finish line, many where stepping into a second night on the course. UT100 runners would spend their first and only night out.
SUNDAY 27.11.2022
Sunday was all about welcoming home 100 mile and 100km runners who endured the night. The Table Mountain 35km started at 06h00 which coincided with the 100km cut-off. The UTCT cut-off was set at 14h00. The SHRED welcomed trail children, our future mountain goats and we celebrated the podium finishers - the energy was electric!
